As we come to the end of this busy intense half term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the many positives that have emerged during these past weeks. It has been a period of growth, learning, and resilience for the kids, and staff, and I am incredibly proud of their achievements - staff and pupils alike.
In times of busyness and challenges, we often find inspiration in the timeless wisdom of the Bible. One verse that comes to mind is from Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This verse reminds us that, with faith and determination, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve great things.
The kids of St George's have exemplified this spirit throughout the half term, demonstrating their ability to rise above difficulties and reach for excellence. Their dedication to their studies, their support for one another, and their unwavering commitment to personal growth have been truly inspiring.
I also want to share a motivational quote that resonates with the energy and enthusiasm kids and staff have shown: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston Churchill. Let us all remember that our journey is ongoing, and every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow stronger, and let us always make sure that any come back is more impacting than any set back we may face in life.
As we break for the half-term holiday, I encourage you to celebrate your child's achievements and take this time to rest, rejuvenate, and spend quality moments with your loved ones. We look forward to returning to school with renewed energy and enthusiasm for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in nurturing the kids. May you all have a safe, joyful, and restful half-term break.
With warm regards,
Andy
