Parent Communication & Scopay
Paying money to school
You can make online payments for school dinners, school trips & residentials, late stay and breakfast club.
Information and individual account details are sent out now at the new starter meeting.
When letters go out for trips etc. the payment system will go live.
You can also use the system to monitor “early” or “late check outs” for Late Stay. If you have any queries regarding check out time please contact me immediately the discrepancy occurs then a swift alteration, if needed, can be made.
Families who require more than one log in please contact admin staff who will sort this out.
If you pay for Breakfast Club or Late Stay using child care vouchers just continue to do what you are doing, and admin will update your account.
From September we will be making more use of Scopay. We will be changing the texting service and parents evening booking arrangements. We are putting them all under Scopay, so all will be accessiblef rom the app. A little bit of work needs doing your end…. Keep an eye on the newsletters.
Data Collection
SIMS Parent Lite.
Parent Lite is an app/website which links to our SIMS system—the school programme that stores all our data for children and families. The system will allow you to see the data we hold for your family (Address, contact details, doctors etc) - it’s the data collection sheet we send out at Parents’ evening. But henceforth you will be able to see it on line (only your own of course—we wouldn’t give your data sheet to anyone else would we!)
The only thing I want to check is family disputes—you will see all the contact details for your family. Accordingly if you are not prepared to authorise the sharing of contact numbers between the family, simply decline the app when we send it to you next Friday.
St Georges Primary Chorley - well worth joining
Cool milk
This is also something new starters can be doing now—all the information you need is at the end of this link.
For diary dates synchronise to the school website calendar—instructions are on the website for this.
Download the school news app (e4 education) from the app store. Enter the school’s postcode, save the school, and then you get notifications aplomb as we update the website.
