 As the school year came to an end today, it was a pleasure to walk around the school with my fellow Governor Ruth, talking to staff and kids throughout the school. There were a few tired eyes in Year 6 after the disco and sleepover.

Ruth and I would just like to take a moment to wish our incredible Year 6 kids all the best on their journey ahead. To our Reception kids, congratulations on your next step up – you've done brilliantly! Welcome to all the new starters joining us in September; we can't wait to see you grow and thrive.

To every child, your progress and enthusiasm make us immensely proud every time governors visit the school.

To every single member of staff and our wonderful volunteers, your dedication and hard work are simply immense. Thank you for everything you do.

Have a fantastic summer break and well earned rest.
