To be honest, its been quite a phenomenal week.

Dear Families,

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Walking Day last week! Your participation made the event truly special. While I must admit, it’s not my favorite activity, I went and found it to be an important and pleasant experience in our church school community. Our mission is to increase our numbers next year and make it an even bigger celebration. It’s not for everyone, but your involvement makes a difference, and we deeply appreciate it.

Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon food tasting and making their own samosas!! Huge thank you to Prags for the wonderful food & Nikki for a brilliant masterclass on how to make the perfect samosa! I've set up a gallery of other photographs for this project.

Sports days were superb, and we got them in on the 1st time of asking, which is tremendous news.

I couldn't be prouder of the fantastic effort and sportsmanship displayed by our amazing kids during the sports days - they were ace! A huge round of applause to all the children for their enthusiasm and commitment, to Jenny, and all the hard-working staff for organising such a successful event, and to our supportive adults for cheering on the sidelines. (and thank you for staying on the sidelines!)

I would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Albany Academy for graciously allowing us to host the sports days at their wonderful facilities. Your generosity is truly appreciated!

Remember, all the points earned by the teams during the sports days will contribute towards the highly coveted end of year team point award. Let's keep up the fantastic teamwork and spirit throughout the year!

Thank you once again to everyone involved for making our sports days a memorable and enjoyable experience for all. Here's to many more successful events ahead!

Celebrating Success at the Swimming Gala and Aqua Splash Event

Wow! What a fantastic night we had at the swimming gala and aqua splash event! It was truly a night to remember as we celebrated the incredible achievements of our swimmers.

I am delighted to share that our team excelled in every event, both individual and relay, securing medals and making us proud. The dedication and hard work of our swimmers have truly paid off, and it was an absolute joy to witness their talent and passion shine through in the pool.

I would like to extend a massive congratulations to all the participants from St George's for their outstanding performances. Your commitment, perseverance, and sportsmanship have not gone unnoticed.

A big thank you is also due to the Chorley School Sports Partnership for organising such a fantastic event that provided our students with the opportunity to showcase their skills and sportsmanship.

Let's continue to support and encourage our swimmers as they strive for excellence in both the pool and beyond. Well done, everyone!
