Congratulations to All Saints Chorley, who had a special service this morning to celebrate 95 years of their branch of Mothers Union. The Revd Peter Smith, deanery chaplain, took part in the service and the Past President and Archdeacon happened to drop by! Branch Leader Marjorie Holland is pictured with Gill Ireland and a delicious cake that was enjoyed by all.

It was such a blessing to be able to welcome over 100 people into our church today as we met with God together. A big thank you to Simon Wilson for preaching to us and to archdeacon Mark Ireland for joining us this morning as we celebrated 95 years of the work of our mother’s union branch! I hope you all have a blessed week ahead as we continue to journey through lent towards Easter
