Certainly not winding down, alas. Thanks for all your kind words, and support - they actually mean a lot.

Class 6 learning about Roman soldiers, armour and their weapons. Then seeing the granary ruins and visiting the museum to learn so much about the Romans in Ribchester. It has been a busy morning! I will put a Gallery in the Gallery section of the website this evening.

Classes 7 and 8 showcased their ukulele playing this afternoon for their families. A wonderful performance everyone!

Congratulations to all our St George's Year 6 children who were confirmed tonight with Bishop Philip in church. A beautiful service, great singing and a celebration of faith.

You can come in your outfits tomorrow if you want, kids! We'll also be having communion in our school Eucharist on Wednesday next week.

We had such a wonderful time at Eureka! Year 1 were all superstars 🌟 I will set up a Gallery Later this evening.

Year 5 have had a wonderful day celebrating the food and culture of Brazil to end their geography topic. We have tried Brazilian samba drumming, made our own Brazilian chocolate truffles and Brazilian salsa, and researched the physical and human features of Brazil that tourists might go to visit. Well done year 5, what an awesome day 👏
