In addition I know that Class 7 have been bsuy with their Curricular Hook. For your information we use the phrase curricular hook to hook kids onto the learning for the half term. Curricular hooks can be simple, can be huge, can be expecsive, can be free, can last an hour, can last a week - No matter what, curricular hooks are a motivational way to engage kids, and to take a step towards our vision for the school, namely that we want kids to want to come to school. We want kids to enjoy school. We want kids to be relaxed at school - that way, learning is at an optimum.
Year 5 had a great trip to Jodrell Bank - an amazing enhancement to their Science topic.
Guess who....
Yesterday afternoon, Year 6 had a wonderful time rounding off their art topic on Gaudi. They created their final clay masterpieces! Amazing work Year 6, they all look brilliant.
Class 6 had an exciting start to their day. They became detectives seeking clues to find out who, or what, had caused this chaos in their classroom!
