As always an energetic start to the term at St G's

Year 6 would like to invite you to join us for our Remembrance Service on Friday 10th November, at 10:50am. We have sent invitations to our neighbours and hope as many people as possible can join us, weather permitting, on the MUGA. The service will also be live streamed for those wishing to join from afar.

Year 6 began their new unit on Dark Fairy Tales yesterday by looking at the vocabulary in The Tale of the Three Brothers. They loved the atmosphere in the hall with the lights out and the music...

Something strange had certainly happened in Class 5 over the half term!! The children arrived to a crime scene! The children worked together as Fairytale Police Detectives to piece together the well know fairy tales using the clues left behind. When they had all the answers they visited the evidence table to work out who the criminals could be 🐷🐷🐷. Great excitement to kick start our new topic Fairy tales with a twist.

Class 3 have been thinking about how lucky we are to have enough food and how we can help those who don’t have a good harvest.

We talked about how, as Christians, we should share our gifts and decided that we are good artists. The children made and decorated a calendar in return for a donation to buy some seeds and tools for families in South Sudan.

Thank you to all who donated as we raised an amazing £120 which has enabled us to order 8 Seeds of hope and tools of change packs.

Together we CAN make a difference!
